Does MedTrans Unlimited, Inc. outsource any of its transcription?

An emphatic NO! All of our transcriptionists are based in the United States and we do not outsource work overseas, nor do we allow our independent contractors to subcontract their work.

How soon can we get started?

In as little as one day! If you have a touch-tone telephone and a computer to receive the completed work, you are ready to get started.

Can we add more practitioners later?

Each practitioner is assigned a unique 4-digit ID number and provided with detailed instructions. New dictators can be set up in a matter of minutes. It's that simple!

What are my digital dictation options?

MedTrans offers state-of-the-art digital dictation equipment at no additional cost to you, and we also provide you with a toll-free, call-in telephone number.

We can also accommodate a variety of digital handheld recorders and can help you with the software installation, so that your files can be transferred to our system simply by plugging the handheld into a PC in your office.

In addition, we have the capability of downloading voice files from most in-house systems.
